On June 22, 2026, the Association for Social and Human Advancement (ASHA) took a significant step toward fostering local economic empowerment by organizing the Sesame Crude Oil Machine Distribution Program. Assisted and generously funded by the MCKS Trust Fund, a brand-new sesame oil extraction machine was officially handed over to the women beneficiaries of the Sirduk Circle Federation. The equipment was facilitated through ASHA Holy Cross and presented by its Director, Fr. Robert, who emphasized the collaborative commitment to uplifting the community through tangible, grassroots support.

This forward-looking initiative is designed to stimulate women-led, income-generating activities within the region. By equipping the Sirduk women’s federation with the tools needed for efficient, local sesame oil production, the program aims to promote sustainable livelihoods and self-reliance. As these women step into the role of local producers, the newly acquired machinery will allow them to create a high-quality product, significantly increasing their household incomes. Ultimately, this collaborative project stands as a powerful testament to how targeted community investments and meaningful partnerships can drive long-term financial independence and social empowerment for women.
